Believe it or not, summer is almost over! In just a few short days, the kids will be back to school and the temperatures should finally start to cool.
 Our garden and fruit trees have done especially well this year, and we hope yours have, too. We've been enjoying fresh garden vegetables and fruits. With the end of the growing season rapidly approaching, we are beginning our fall canning ritual. We love home-canned and home-dehydrated produce, and it's such a good feeling to have a supply of these products on our food storage shelves for a rainy day!
This month we are featuring canning and dehydrating products. We have a large selection of products on special during August, including some of the best recipe books for home preserving.
