Oat groats are whole oat grains with only the outer husk removed. Oat groats may be ground into flour, steamed and rolled into oatmeal, or cooked and eaten whole. Not for sprouting.
Cereal recipe: Bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add 1/2 cup oat groats. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 45 minutes or until tender.
