We use these every day, not just for storage! Powdered eggs work just as well as fresh in most baking recipes. Great for cakes, cookies, breads, even homemade noodles! Contains no preservatives, colorings, or other additives - just eggs! This can holds the equivalent of approximately 108 fresh eggs.
To preserve the natural color and nutrient value, we strongly recommend storing powdered eggs in the refrigerator or freezer after opening.
DIRECTIONS: To substitute for one large egg in a recipe, add 2 Tablespoons egg powder with the dry ingredients and 2½ Tablespoons water with the wet ingredients. If reconstitution is necessary, use a wire whisk to gradually mix the powder into the water and whisk until lumps are gone.
Sealed in a #10 can with oxygen absorber for long-term storage. See our Shelf Life and Storage Guidelines pages for further information.
