If you plant large gardens or want to share seeds with family and friends, the Community Garden Kit is ideal! This kit contains 27 varieties of high-quality, non-hybrid, open-pollinating, non-GMO seeds. Though it contains fewer varieties of seeds than our “Complete Garden Kit”, a larger quantity of each variety is included. The seed count totals over 17,000 seeds and if planted in the recommended row and plant spacing, will plant almost two full acres. The seeds are labeled and packaged individually in zip-lock poly bags, placed in a single large zip-lock poly bag, and then hermetically sealed in a #10 size can. Includes a handy planting guide.

Storage tip: To greatly enhance the shelf life of your seeds, store them in the refrigerator. They will last several years longer!

		Thick, orange, fiber-free flesh cooks up dry and tastes something like sweet potatoes. Turban shaped, dark green fruits measure 4¼ by 6 inches, with a prominent "button" on blossom end.
